The Arc de Triomphe is a Parisian landmark and monument to fallen soldiers, as well as their victories. It also serves as the worlds largest roundabout. It stands in the Place Charles de Gaulle (sometimes referred to as Place L’Étoile) about two kilometers from the Place de la Concorde, at the western end of the Champs Élysées.
